There is so much more they could have done with that character. Let him at least do something useful or sacrifice himself or make his death more impactful on the plot other than just making us mad. Like Eli's death in 5 was great because it also revealed jacobs plan he had for us all along. And we didn't even need another reason to fight the twins.
Far Cry New Dawn has its own unique story, which is driven by a set of Story Missions. To fully immerse the player into post-apocalyptic Hope County, there are also several Side Missions of different types and plenty of Side activities.
